Start and End time

  • Event start time: 1:15PM, Monday, June 15th

    • Registration is available Sunday June 14th and Monday June 15th starting at 8:00AM

  • End time: 1:15 PM, Wednesday, June 17th

  • We cannot guarantee early check-in, but the resort will do its best to turn over rooms to get folks in as soon as possible

  • Please arrive dressed and ready to attend the summit as guests will go directly to lunch

Suggested Arrival Flights on June 15th

  • From BOS to ROC: American Airlines 4171 departing BOS at 9:54AM and arriving to ROC at 11:28AM

  • From JFK to ROC: Delta 5330 departing JFK at 9:20AM and arriving to ROC at 10:43AM

  • From EWR to ROC: United 4465 departing EWR at 10:17AM and arriving to ROC at 11:40AM 

  • From LGA to ROC: Delta 5340 departing LGA at 10:19AM and arriving to ROC at 11:53AM

  • From LAX to BUF: There is a direct Jet Blue Flight (492) from LAX to BUF (Buffalo) departing on Sunday at 11:35PM and arriving at 7:29AM Monday but we recommend booking a stay for sun night so you have a hotel room on arrival to sleep. There are also many flights with 1 stop during the day to ROC that are less than 7 hours total trip time

  • From SFO to ROC: We suggest flying in Sunday June 14th to avoid a red eye. There are numerous flights from SFO to ROC or SYR on various airlines

  • All other airports: There are direct flights between ROC to Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta and Las Vegas. There are direct flights between BUF and Dallas, Ft Lauderdale, Denver. We suggest flying in Sunday if you’re coming from anywhere other than NY or Boston

  • Shuttles are available for all flights arriving before 12PM on June 15th

  • BOS: American Airlines 4709 departing ROC at 2:23PM and arriving Boston at 4:00PM

  • JFK: Delta 5289 departing ROC at 4:28PM and arriving JFK at 5:59PM

  • EWR: United 3580 departing ROC at 4:15PM and arriving EWR at 5:37PM

  • LGA: Delta 5062 departing SYR at 6:04PM and arriving LGA at 7:24PM

  • LAX and SFO: Variety of flights all day from ROC after 3PM

Venue

  • All guests will be staying at The Lake House on Canandaigua (main hotel) or Hotel Canandaigua by Hilton. Unless you were specifically emailed that you will be at the Hotel Canandaigua, you can assume you are at the Lake House.

Early Arrivals / Departures / Extra nights

We have negotiated a special rate for any guests that want to arrive a day or two early on June 13th, 14th or 17th for a rate of $441.50 inclusive of taxes per night. Any additional days will be at your own expense but we hope you have an opportunity to stay longer and enjoy the resort and beautiful surroundings. Please indicate your interest in additional nights on the survey and you can pay on-site. Please do not book directly with the hotel; if you want any additional nights please email us and we’ll handle the booking as everything is through our room block.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-in: 3 PM
Check-out: 11 AM (all luggage is to be left in the Naples room by 11am on departure date)
We will do our best to ask for early check-in and late check-out where possible.

Costs

The Finger Lakes Summit with be providing meals, activities, group shuttles at designated times and accommodations for the nights of June 15th and 16th and all listed events on the agenda. All incidental charges (laundry, room service, spa, etc.) will be at your own expense. A credit card will be taken at check-in.

Parking

If you are planning to drive, free parking is available at the hotel for the duration of your stay. Electric chargers are also available.

Airport Transfers

If you were assigned car service or a shuttle, you will be emailed a confirmation by June 12th. Group shuttles will be available on June 15th for any arrivals whose plane lands before 12PM and on June 17th for any flights departing after 2:20PM.

If you arrive outside of these times, you will be responsible for your own transport and we encourage you to use Uber or Lyft from the Rochester or Syracuse airport on your arrival and black car service for your return flight from the Lake House as ride-hailing is not always reliable in Canandaigua (at your own expense).

Private Planes

The Canandaigua Airport (KIUA) is the nearest airport for private planes. It is a ~10-minute drive to The Lake House. Please notify us the week before the event of your arrival time and we’ll send a car or the hotel’s shuttle – fingerlakessummit@impellent.vc

Spouses / +1’s

While +1s are welcome to stay in your room and use the property, they are not allowed at any summit programming. We also do not have any programming for +1s over the course of the conference.

Pet Policy

While the hotel is dog-friendly, pups are only allowed on certain floors and rooms. As such, we can only allow 3 guests with pets. If your furry friend will be joining us, please reach out asap. There is a fee of $75 per stay with an additional $25 cleaning fee per day charged directly from the hotel.

Smoking policy

There is no smoking permitted on the property.

What happens if we want to change our activity or transport

Are there other guests at the hotel

No, we have bought out the Lake House Hotel. That being said, there may be other guests using the restaurant facilities when we are not using them.

How do I get between Hotel Canandaigua and the Lake House

If you are staying at the Hotel Canandaigua, you will be sent a separate message. The two hotels are a 3 min drive or 15 min walk along the lake apart from each other. If you are at Hotel Canandaigua, you can call one of the driver’s phone numbers of the lake house transport desk and they can pick you up or drop you off. If you are at the lake house, simply stop by the transportation desk in the lobby and ask for a ride. Driver numbers: SUV 585 430 0086, Transit Van 585 364 9833. In case they don’t pick up, call the hotel at 585 394 7800

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel after May 1st, you will be responsible for the nonrefundable costs related to room, food and event costs of $2,500.

What to pack

  • Weather: Bring layers as it is hot during the day and cold at night on the water

  • Themed attire: We welcome you to dress up for our two themed evenings. It is optional but many people do dress up. Monday night’s theme is a Mexican fiesta (think belated Cinco de Mayo attire) and Tuesday night is “Camp FLX” (dress in flannel, typical camp attire)

  • Upscale casual wear for daytime activities (the weather will be hot during the day so feel free to wear short sleeve shirts, shorts and dresses)

  • Exercise clothes and sneakers if you are signed up athletic activities or want to use the gym

  • Swimsuit and flip flops if you want to use the pool or hot tub before or after the event (there is no time during the conference to do so)

  • Sunglasses (you will need this every day)

  • Hat (we will be outside during the day)

  • Walking shoes (most of the property has grass)

  • Toiletries

  • Chargers

  • If women are looking to bring heels, we’d suggest wedges as there is a lot of grass

Spa appointments

The spa will be open throughout our stay. Please contact the Willowbrook Spa at the Hotel in advance to make your appointment. We recommend the outdoor barrel sauna for a truly unique experience. (585.394.9479, spareservations@lakehousecdga.com)
